Doing the Right Thing Bullying Prevention DVD
The Doing the Right Thing DVD is a “one stop" bullying prevention resource kit. The DVD provides an exceptional, updated view into the high cost of social/relational aggression by focusing on honest reflections of diverse students. Used with its accompanying discussion and activity guides, the kit offers opportunities to change the cultural norms by challenging common assumptions and asking youth to develop solutions to bullying situations.
We recommended that each chapter be watched and debriefed in a typical classroom period to allow time to absorb content. However, it may also be played in its entirety and debriefed if a day-long debriefing session is available.
The kit includes powerful resources for you to use to implement a research-based comprehensive program including planning and training guides, sample policies, a power point training for parents and/or educators, sample posters and fact sheets.
